In this June 25, 2019, file photo, Gov. J. B. Pritzker signs a bill in Chicago.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced the signing into law of dozens of House and Senate bills late Friday afternoon.

The approved House Bills included new legislation that extends specific TIF districts, addressed park district land acquisition rights and mandated that county clerk forms be changed to gender neutral, among others.

Pritzker also signed Senate Bill 482, criminal-justice reform legislation that extends the sunset of a pilot program in Cook County designed to waive fees for petitions to expunge or seal records.

Pritzker’s lone veto came on House Bill 423, which sought to extend teacher competency testing through 2025.
